Revocation of probation was de-
creed in 128th District Court late
Friday, for Earnest Ray Rashall,
by visiting Judge Owen Lord ol
Beaumont.
Rashall, 24, of Box 164. Merry-
ville. La., was one ef five men+.
convicted of burglary charges fol-
lowing a safe robbery in Vidor in
December. I960, according to Mrs.
Barbara Mulhollan, secretary to:
Dist."Atty. James A. Morris.. He
was sentenced to serve eight years
in the state penitentiary.
Placed on probation in May
1961, Rashall agreed to make res-
titution of a portion of the cash
stolen in weekly payments of $25.
Mrs. Mulhollan said that he has
paid $212 to date.' '
Rashall was arrested in Calca-
sieu Parish, La., on Sept. 4. 1962,
for unlawful possession of fire-
arms. leading to revocation of
his probation. He received a sen-
tence of four straight years in the
state penitentiary by Judge Lord.
