of Building No. 4, painting, assembly, ship-
ping, etc. "Red" Schulz transferred to days
to take Jake's former position as head of
parts handling and storage, and attains state
of marital bliss, in order of importance.
Harold Cordes promoted to night super-
visor. Len Clary takes over 83 parts room
vacated by Harold.
Congratulations all around, boys-go to it.
Hawthorne "Boots" Shephard, mule driver,
left to serve in Uncle Sam's army.
H. Koehl, plate cutting, copped Standards
honors for week ending April 26 with 1005
premium units. Heat treat was most im-
proved; average premium down to $4.81.
Johnny Way, personnel, is the proud own-
er of a new blue gabardine suit. He is open
to friendly and constructive criticism.
Popular acclaim will bring Dr. Butler back
for shop meeting next Wednesday noon and
night. Don't miss hearing him!
Service Representative Sam Beebe in Can-
ada to help lay out Tournapull jobs.LeTourneau Ad Club members came
through to win Ad Club bowling champion-
ship tournament . . . they turned on the
heat in the last three games of season and
nosed out the team that had held first place
all year.

Mrs. Bill Dobson, having undergone an
appendectomy April 25, is soon to leave St.
Francis Hospital.
Glen Miller, Jr., scraper assembly, an-
nounced his engagement to Miss Erma
Whorton of Camp Point, Ill.
Elwyn Spangler, machine shop, became
delighted daddy of Sharon Marie, April 24.

ria division for 1941, are as follows: Mil-

A LeTourneau Girls Club with a mem-
bership of 25 girls has recently been organ-
ized. The installation of officers as follows
will be at an early date. Eleanore Dubie,
President; Wilma LeTourneau, Vice Presi-
dent; Louise Bruce, Secretary; Ethel Thoma-
son, Treasurer. The group will meet the
first Thursday of each month for luncheons
or similar social gatherings.
The newly elected officers of the LeTour-
neau Male Chorus are: R. G. LeTourneau,
Honorable President; Louis Shuford, Presi-
dent; B. C. McDow, Vice President; C. D.
Stapleton, Secretary and Treasurer; Paul
Dauterman, Pianist; Jimmie Haynes, Librar-
ian; Doyle Hackney, Assistant Librarian.
The chorus is organized under the director-
ship of Nolan Lewis, Sr.
The departmental bowling league stand-
ings are thus with two more games to be
played: Louise Farming Co., Accounting,
and Standards Department are tied for first
place. Mac Mapstone is high man with a
total of 2553 pins in 24 lines.
The LeTourneau machinist school will
soon be placed on a new basis of three shifts
per day.
