Mrs. Forbes is survived by two
sons, bstdet the daughter, J. Em-
mett and H L Forbes, both of
Grapevine, she was a member of
the Baptist Church. Her husband
died on Caristmas day, and a
brother, Be Koonze of Grapevine
died a month later

The revival services in the First
Baptist Church, which closed the
first week Sunday, resulted tn nihe ’

congregation of the week was pres-
ent in the morning service, .when

of Mr and Mrs. C. W Brott of । Okla, their houseguest
Amarillo, who drowned yesterday in Miss Belle Bates of Laramie
Box canyon, 15 miles northeast of Wyo_ is here for the summer with
Amarillo. The boy was wading in her sister, Mrs. Robert Storrie, and
a shallow stream when he stepped other relatives.

in the Universkty of Texas, I was
married to Miss Frances’Margaret
Raby Saturday at the home of the
bride's parents in Tyler, her father,
Dr. C M. Raby. performing the
ceremony assisted by Dr. D. Emory
Hawk of Dallas. McBryde was at-
tended by Tom Rose of Denton and
the bride by her sister, Miss Lor-
na Raby. Wilbur C. Raby gave his
sister in marriage.
The ceremony was read before an
altar of pernet rose sand ferns, and
other roses and spring flowers dec-
orated the reception rooms. The
br.de wore a princess gown of crepe
Elizabeth, with white accessories Af-
ter a short wedding trip the couple
will be at home at 2202 Nueces
Street, Austin, until McBryde re-
ceives his degree at the close of the
comin,: school year. . .....
McBryde taught in the local col-
lege from 1827 to 1930, and has been
on leave the past year. He is ex-
pected to return here in the sum-
mer of next year. Mrs. McBryde is a
giaduate of Southwestern Unlver-
sity and a member at the Phi Mu
Sorority, and McBryde is a mem-
ber of the Acacia Fraternity.

during the past two weeks, is able
to be up.
W. J. Mitchell, who has been sick
of ptomaine poison during the past
week, was reported Monday morn-
tng as much improved.
