automobile as the crossed Bell Av-
enue from the college campus
Thursday morning, continued to be
in a serious condition Friday at the
Denton Medical and Surgical cunic.
The girl sustained a compound
fracture of the right leg, crushed
cheat. and other internal injuries
of a serious nature, examination re-
vealed. Her mother, Mrs Scott Por-
te nberry of Woodville, arrived in
Denton and was at the daughter's
bedside Friday

an understanding. All you have is
your savings account. I think you I
were crazy to throw up your job
just to come out and clean this 1
house, but that’s your party. You’ll
probably get another job or marry,
but neither one is quite 80 sure as
death and taxes.*
"The Featherstones don’t want, to
be kept free." Eve said meekly. “They
