Qvorks NEW HIGH IN PRICE
A million dollars for a man to a
goodly sum for a girl to pay for '
even, the best, but in some levels of
society husbands bring big prices.
A good husband might be cheap at
a mfllion—the trouble is that good
husbands are not for sale.
When a girl pays a million for a
man, decides he is no bargain, then
she ands she has to pay the fan-
tastio sum of five mfflion to be rid
of him. it begins to look as though
someone got stung It couldn't be
the man. could it?
Leaving out the moral aspect of
the situation, a woman who wants
to turn to old husbands for new
must expect to pay for the privil-
ege.

Husband*, and probedly in search of
a model husband, has already had '
to pay dearly for her hobby. She's
able to afford it, but her perform- 1
ancees are setting a bad example
for others who can lees afford the
luxury of a lively procession of hus-
bands, all bearing assorted foreign
labels. She has demonstrated con-
clusively that foreign husbands
come high; also that they do not
seem to be worth what they cost.
What About Americans?
It to gratifying that to date there
have been no Americans among the
collections. Possibly the American
brand is what the lady to really

one might pay the lady back, it not a
