Santa Fe Railway will offer
"one-price tickets" at all its
ticket offices throughout the
country effective September
15. John S. Reed, president, has
announced in Chicago.
One-price tickets were intro-
duced by Santa Fe May 16, on
experimental basis between sel-
ected points. The plan affords
passengers the opportunity to
include in one ticket all the ba-
sic costs of a trip, including
meals, Pullman accommoda-
tions, or seat and pillow ser-
vice.
Reed also announced that
special, round trip bargain
fares, with reductions averag-
ing about 20 per cent, will
again be made available by
Santa Fe from September 15
through May 15, 1968. Bargain
fare tickets are good on all
trains every day of the week,
and have a 30-day return limit.
This marks the fifth consecu-
tive season that Santa Fe has
made bargain fares available
during the off-season winter
months.
