When your
Children Cry
for It
Mothers, who take one simple
precaution, are seldom worried.
With a bottle of Fletcher’s Cas-
torla in the house they can do
what their doctor would tell them
to do, when baby is fretful, fever-
ish, colicky, constipated or stutf-
ed-up with cold—give a few drops
of this pure vegetable, pleasant-
tasting preparation. It comforts
baby and soothes him to sleep in
a jiffy. It’s perfectly safe for the
youngest infant. . Use it freely—
and as often as needed, specialists
advise. A more liberal dose is all
it takes to comfort and relieve

California Romance
In Worth Picture •
A romance of California in
the early days is woven Into
"Tide of Empire,” Peter B.
Kyne’s well known story, now
showing at the Worth. It is an
entertaining picture with, some
good acting.
Renee Adoree has the leading
role, that of Josephita, daughter
of an aristocratic Mexican family
that resents the intrusion of Am-
ericans into California following
the discovery of gold.
She treats with contempt the
"peeg of an American,” played
by George Duryea, who starts
paying court to her as soon as he
sees her. She is cast well as a
senorita.
. Derry D’Arcy, the American,
refuses to be discouraged by her
rebufts. Eventually he convinces
her othis friendship. .
How D’Arcy saves the rancho
of Jose family and later the life
of RlmSMldO the girl’s hrnlhaa.
played by William Collier Jr.,
forms the basis of the story and
keeps the audience interested.
"Meet the Missus” is one of
the best comedies seen anywhere
this year. Anyone who has ever
gotten romantic after a few
drinks and had a run-In with
the better half will appreciate it.
