program, and to taste what Main Street had to
offer. Retailers in the downtown historical dis-
trict opened their doors and offered event partic-
ipants food and beverage samples from a variety
of area purveyors. Tickets to the event could be
purchased prior to, or the day of the event, with
all proceeds benefiting Drive A Senior Elgin.
