The Sealy mattress had a Sealy beginning.
History reveals that Daniel Haynes, pioneer Texan

original Sealy mattress was a Haynes invention and

One of the most urgent tasks awaiting Congress after
the Labor Day recess will be passage of a new farm bill,
which will set forth federal agriculture policy for the next
four years.
The aim of a federal farm policy is to induce elements
of predictability into an inherently unpredictable business.
