Local lady Irene Reznicek had some good luck on an opening day deer hunt as she t
bagged a 9-point buck that dressed out at 138 pounds, and then on Nov. 10 she
downed a 8-pointer with a 13-inch spread that dressed out at 142 pounds. The
deer were killed on the Joe and Charlene Anderson Ranch in Brady.

A. Sisa of Houston, formerly of Wel-
come. were held Thursday, November
17. 1994 at 10:00 a.m. from the Kne-
sek Bros./Etlinger Funeral Chapel in
Bellville with Rev. William J. Hodge
of the Houston Brethren Church offi-
ciating. Interment was in the Na-
tional Cemetery in Nelsonville.
Pallbearers for the service were
Jerry Hoff, Robert Rochen. Frank Ad-
long. Roy Vajdek, Sydney Jurchak,
and Franklin Sisa.
The former Miss Ottilie Anna
Chaloupka was born on April 5, 1922
to parents Vincent and Emma Schaefer I
Chaloupka in Bleiblerville. She was
raised in Welcome and attended the
Welcome Labanon School.
On October 4, 1947, she married
Joseph B. Sisa in the Nelsonville
Brethren Church and later moved to
Houston where she worked for the
Juergen Sisters Grocery Store for 20
yeut.
She was a member of the Houston ]
Brethren Church, the church Sunday I
School and Christian Sisters and also '
a member of the Bleiblerville !

Mrs. Sisa died Monday, Nov. 14. at
her home in Houston.
Survivors include her husband, I
