Cub Pack 182
Has Camp-Out
Fifteen members of Cub Pack
No. 182, their Cub master,
John H. Wooten and nine other
interested adults met at Scott
Falls Saturday afternoon for
an over night outing. They
cooked their meals over the
open fire and enjoyed a regu-
lar cook-out feast after a re-
freshing swim.
After dark a fox was called
up and killed which was an ex-
citing experience. But, probably
the highlight of the after dark
activities was the snipe hunt-
ing expedition several novices
were taken on. Every one had
a good time- except the fox.
A swimming party at Hamil-
ton’s Pool near Austin is plan-
ned for later in the month.
if you have a son of Cub age
why not encourage him to “join
up”. Under good leadership it
is wonderful for developing a
youth physically and teaches
him many things not obtainable
in the schoolroom. Mr. Wooten
can tell you parents just how
much it really does do for a
youngster.
