will host the party are Mr. and
by instinct is readily understood
when you observe the way this
crustacean is put together. Back-
ing is necessary for survival. The
expressway driver who misses
his exit, stops and needlessly
backs in to the fact of high speed
approaching traffic certainly
makess less sense and is more dif-
ficult to undertsand.
Be crabby if you like, states the
Institute for Safer Living of the
American Mutual Liability In-
surance Company, but don’t be
an expressway “exit crab.” Al-
ways know your route and your
exit point before you get on an

Capt. Harrington
LONG BINH, VIETNAM —
Army Captain Jack O. Harring-
ton Jr., 28, whose parents live at
704 15th St., Plano, Tex., receiv-
ed the Bronze Star Medal July 30
during ceremonies near Long
Binh, Vietnam.
Capt. Harrington was present-
ed the award for meritorious ser-
vice in ground operations against
hostile forces in Vietnam.
The captain is adjutant of the
93rd Evacuation Hospital at Long
Binh. He entered the Army in
1962 and arrived in Vietnam in
August 1967. He holds the Army
Commendation Medal.
Capt. Harrington graduated in
1958 from Plano High School and
received his commission through
the Reserve Officers’ Training
Corps program at Texas A & M
University, College Station, where
he received his B. S. degree in
1962.

Mrs. Morris Akin are in Houston

Herman Boren and son, Dickie,
of Pontotoc, Mississippi, visited

Wedding anniversary. The occas-
ion will be held at the home of
their son, Burl Thompson and

2 to 5 o’clock at which time their
three children and grandchildren

ing. Crabs go into reverse when
they face danger, but a driver
who goes into reverse on an ex-
pressway is asking for disaster.
