ed to the foregoing Instrument, and acknowledged to me that they executed the same for the
purposes and consideration therein expressed. And said Emma Smith, wife of said Haskell
Smith, having been examined by me privily and apart from her husband, and having the same
fully explained to her, she, the said Emma Smith, acknowledged such Instrument to be her
act and deed, and declared that she had willingly signed the same for the purposes and con-
sideration therein expressed, and that she did not wish to retract it.

deliver in a true and perfect workmanlike manner a one story frame house according to plans
and specifications agreed upon by and between the parties hereto, signed by the parties
hereto for identification, and made a part of this contract, for the said parties of the
second part, upon all that certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in
Austin, Travis,County, Texas, and described as follows, to-wit:
Parts of Lots Nos. Twenty-nine (29) and Thirty-four (34), of Pleasant View Addition,
a subdivision of part of the Isaac Decker League in the City of Austin, Travis County, rex
as, according to the map or plat of said Addition of record in Book 3, Page 27 of the Plat
Records of Travis County, Texas, and being part of the property described in the deed from
Mat H. Benson to Emmett Shelton dated September 25, 1935, and recorded in Vol. 548 at ,
15, of the Deed Records of Travis County, Texas, conveying Lot No. 29 of Pleasant View Ad-
dition, and being part of the property described in the deed from Sophie Wenalanat to Emmett
