noon, about forty or fifty of the cit-
izems of the town meet in the'Dis-
trict Court room to discuss plans for
incorporating the town, in the face
of the fact that that matter was de-
cided by a big majority vote last

Judge R. L. Graves called the meet
ing to order, and was elected Chair-

nate city offices Tuesday night, the
citizens went into, the organization
of a live Chambef of Commerce.. •.

Several good talks were, made by
members, and especially by Dr. W.N.
Lemmon, after which the business
of electing officers was entered into
with the following results:

was then gone into, and the follow-

the West Texas Chamber of Com-
merce.

At the Methodist Church
Sunday, Oct. 10th being our last
regular meeting before the Annual
Conference, it would give us great
pleasure to see all of the member
at the services, both morning and
evening. At seven o’clock p. m., the
League will render its program. The
League services have already proven
a blessing to all who attend and the
attendance has been good. The Sun-
day School has taken on new life
since the revival and the attendance
has increased. If you have been play
ing “hooky” for awhile, come on in,
the water is fine.
