STRANGE VESSEL resembling the superstructure of a giant submarine passes under
a drawbridge on the Columbia River at Vancouver, Wash., en route to the open sea
and Alaska. Its a section of the oil-drilling platform Trading Bay which will be sta-
tinned over a newly discovered well three miles offshore southwest of Anchorage. It'
