United Fund Deserves Your Support
Once again the community is challenged to do its
part for the fifteen local sen ice agencies, depen-
dent upon the United Fund of Washington County
for financial support. The United Fund simplifies
contributions to these fifteen agencies. Without the
unification into a single drive for the benefit of all,
each of these agencies would be faced with the neces-
sity of making individual appeals Thin would lead to
an impossible situation.
The work of the United Fund is done by volun-
teers. Many make great sacrifices by contributing
their time and energy, in addition to their money, to
make the drive successful. The task will be easier if
we tun make our contributions when called upon by
volunteers.
We are confident that Washington County will
face up to its responsibility and meet the goal of
$23,304. With the spirit and enthusiasm shown by
the volunteer workers, we feel that the job can be
done in record time. Don’tlet them down when they
call on you, let a do it now.
