1. The Brenham Banner -Press Football Contest for
1966 is made possible through the sponsorship ok ths
Brenham Business Firms appearing on this page.
Contest will appear each Tuesday, September 13
to November 15th.
2. In each of the ads of ths sponsoring firms, contest-
ants will find a football game to be played the follow-
ing weekend. All the contestant has to do is circle
the team that he thinks will win the game.
3. The score of the Brenham High School Clawing Cuba
game of the week is the only score that the contes-
tant has to predict.
4. Winners will be determined by the number of cor-
rect answers and the closest score predicted of the
Brenham High School Clawing Cubs game. In the
event of a tie the earliest entry blank received by
The Banner-Press will determine the winner.
5. All entry blanks for the week must be in the Ban-
ner - Press not later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday pre-
ceding the weekend games. Winners will be announ-
ced the following Tuesday. ( )
6. There will be three winners each week of six Bren-
ham High School football tickets for the following
week’s game (2 tickets each). Each week’s winner
will be held until the end of the 10 weeks and from
these weekly winners a drawing will be conducted
and one grand prize winner selected to receive 4 tick-
ets to the Houston Bluebonnet Bowl Game.
7. Contest is open to everyone over the age of 16 and
the decision of the judges will be considered final.
No entries will be returned.
