Galveston. (Tex.) News, April 1
During the recent Mardi Gras cele-
bration at New Orleans, a lady from
Galveston while taking in the carnival,
was not forgetful of the fact that it was
near the time for the march drawing of
the Louisiana state Lottery, and re-
membering that she was then in for
time's very household, the home of the
lottery company, she invested $1 in a
lottery ticket, which she brought back
to Galveston, almost forgetting its POS-
sesion among her many pleasant recol-
lections of the trip. The drawing came,
and it was not until several days after
that she bethought herself of her ticket,
and having her attention directed to
the matter she. upon an examination,
discovered that she heldone-twentieth
of ticket No. 10,420, which drew the sec-
ond capital prize of $100,000, thus en
titling her to $5000. The ticket was
vromptly cashed through the banking
house of Adoue & Lobit of this city,
being paid over to Mr. Nichols as the

which we have taken the liberty to
: publish and at the eame time suggest

vanced case of Bright’s Disease, an
that he can live but a short time. His
honorable and dignified physician asks
for counsel. It is too late. Stilt ho
sticks to his old family physician, and
the physician knows and has known
from the beginning that the patient
has been stricken with death for
months, for he knows full well that
the profession acknowledge they have
no remeiics for the cure of Kidney
Disease.
At last the patient suffocates. 15

dency, and the patient dies from ap-
opiexy, paralysis, pneumonia or heart

end is the same. And yet he and his
friends were warned by the proprie-
tors of the celebrated remedy known

dangers. Columns of facts have been
printed of men dying from advanced
Kidney Disease or Bright’s Disease.
His friends and physcians look around

clined the proffered hospitality, and
recklessly went forward into danger.
He struggled manfully for a time, but
his strength failed, he grew gradually
weaker and he was lost to the world.

malady which is almost daily occurring
in every community, and which is doc-
tored as a symptom instead of what it
is,—a mortal disease unless properly
blood in his ankles for want of proper
exercise.
