Judge t'arter was a welcome visitor
at the Messenger office. He is an
affable gentieman, and rep rls from
his home county say he is eminently
fitted for the high office he seeks
at the hands of the voters of this
judicial district. The following is
taken from the Weatherford Demno-

Judge Carter is forty-three yoars
of age and has spent his life in
Parker county and is known person-

of the county. He was rearer on .

as a young man was in the employ

Company of this city. He early in
life decided to practice law and put
in all his spure time reading law.
later attended a law college and was
admitted to the practice of law. H•

term without opposition. He return-

of eight years he becane a cundidate

re-elected for the second term, which
he is now serving. It will be seen
that Judge Carter has had an un-
usually wide experience as a lawyer
in private practice and as a public
official He is a ch se student of the
law, a man of judicial tempermen,
fair ami impartial.
With regard to his record in the
office he holds at the present time,
we should say that it will boar the
closest inspection and will show that
his administration has been one of
economny and one in which the stum.'
est business prineiphs have been
applied to the county’s business. As
proof of this, the annual siatrmen
