Wesson, gave a demonstration on
baking an angel food cake. She
said the first step is to have your
equipment clean and in order and
your dry ingredients sifted and
measured. Have eggs at room
temperature and light the oven so
it is ready when the cake is. She
also said never to grease your
pan for an angel food cake.
The Elberta H. D. Club met
with Mrs. W. T. Wesson June 14
and roll call was answered by
each member telling where they
would like to spend their vaca-
tion and why. There were some in-
teresting answers such as going to
Yellowstone National Park, New
York City, California and New
Jersey.
Mrs. Wesson served white and
gold cake and iced tea to four-
teen members and five visitors,
Mrs. Charlie Fuller, Miss Odelia
Traxler, Mrs. Molly Traxler and
Miss Mary Johnson.
The next meeting will be with
Mrs. Audry Norrell June 29, at
which time Miss Maggie Peach
