the day and the championship for
1945, with 1217 points out of pos-
sible 1259, also winning the off-
hand team and offhand 'champion-
ship for 1945, with 558 points out
of possible 625., Walter Mitten-
dorf won the highest offhand
score with 116 points out of 125.

lished by The Dallas Morning
News, is off the press, the 1945-46
edition being commemorative of
the Centennial of Texas State-
hood. Although. print paper is
still alarmingly scarce, (the fact
that the new book contains 608
pages—the largest in history—is
considered adequate proof of its
value to the public. In harmony
