Gem tintype photograph of a young girl from the chest up. She wears a striped jacket buttoned to the collar, and a black hat that covers only the very top of her head. She has shoulder-length light colored hair with straight bangs. She looks directly at the camera and does not smile. Her eyes and mouth are slightly blurred. The photograph has cracks in the emulsion layer in the upper right corner, and at the very corner a section has flaked off.
