shortcomings?
Instead of condemning others, we
need to show love and forgiveness
Jesus loves and forgives us, so we
need to do the same
if God were to judge any of us, no
matter how perfect we may think we
are. we would all come up short So
we certainly don't want to face the
judgment of God, do we’
On the other hand, when we stop
being judgmental we can reach out
to others in love and understanding
That way we can contribute things
that are positive, not negative, to
this world
Once we quit judging others and
start finding the good in everyone
and everything, life starts changing
for the better
This leaves us open to all people
and all occasions, allowing us to live
life more abundantly.
And as we accept others and
forgive and overlook their short-
comings. so we are also assured that
God our Father in heaven is also
forgiving us when we do wrong
Let us always remember that it is
not ours to judge Rather it is ours to
love.

one of the hardest things for most
people to do is to learn not to judge
anyone
When we come into contact with
those who are a different nationality
or religion, we tend to shy away
from developing any kind of
relationship with them
The same things holds true of
those who may be of lower social
standing or dress differently than we
do
There is so much to be learned and
gained by getting to know people
from all walks of life But we often
miss these opportunities because of
our attitude or closed-mindedness
Down through the years I have
discovered that many of the people
who have enriched my life in one
way or another have been those to
whom I wasn't particularly attrac-
ted right away.
Maybe it was the way they dresed
or their hairstyle that kept me from
trying to gel to know them better at
first Sometimes it was just the way
they acted or their mannerisms
But I have found that there is
something to be learned from just
about everyone And that most of the
time when I made the effort to talk to
people I don't know. I have found
that I have benefitted in all kinds of
ways
Some people have gained a lot of
knowledge through the education
they have received. Others have
learned much through their experi-
ences And still others just have good
common sense and offer an insight
into things than much more
educated people can ever do
This is why it's so important for us
to never close a door that might turn
out to be a good experience
in Matthew 7:1-2 we read. "Stop
judging so that you may not be
