Stitch & Gab held their regular
monthly meeting Thursday with

The meeting was called to order,
with everyone telling who they are
and what they do for relaxation.
Joyce Wade demonstrated how
to cut out and piece a quilt top, lap
quilting it as she progressed.
Everyone enjoyed the demon-
stration and the refreshments
that followed.
The next meeting will be Thurs-
day, May 5 at 11:30 at the Fisher

in accident Saturday
Austin and Giddings cars were
involved in an accident at the in-
tersection of Austin and Main
streets in Giddings Saturday,
April 9 at 8:22 p.m.
Involved in the accident was a
1991 Mazda driven by Etaurino
Martinez and a 1984 Ford LTD
driven by Leila May Herzog of
Giddings.
