by dispatch of a criminal mischief.
He met with the complainant, Mary
Macias, who stated that someone
had keyed her vehicle. She be-
lieves that her vehicle was keyed
while it was parked at the middle
school during her driving time.
Macias did not know who would
have done the damage. Ofc. Mont-
gomery observed the ’99 GMC
with several scratch marks down
the side and back.

ence to ongoing problems that her
daughter has had with a juvenile

Cpl Montgomery was dis-
patched to 2448 E. Austin in refer-
ence to a theft by check. Upon
arrival, he met with the manager of
Hunan's, Pamela Smith, who ad-

Ofc. Law and Ofc. Lovato re-
sponded to 246 Edgewood in ref-
erence to an assault. Upon arrival,
he met with Terry Marie Jarmon
and her juvenile son, Jarmon
stated that she had gotten into an
argument earlier with two friends
of hers. Beau Hemmer and Latauria
Sanders regarding the selling of a
TV set. Jarmon stated that her ju-
venile son was not present for the
argument but arrived home later.
She stated that she told her son
about the incident and that he con-
fronted Hemmer and Sanders. She
stated that during the confronta-
tion. Hemmer pulled out a knife
and threatened her son with the
knife. Ofc. Law contacted Hem-
mer at an apartment adjacent to
Jarmon’s. Hemmer stated that
Jarmon’s son wanted to fight him
and Hemmer told him that he did
not want to fight him because he
was a juvenile. Hemmer denied
pulling a knife on Jarmon. While
speaking with Hemmer. Sanders
advised that Jarmon had grabbed
her by the arms and dug her nails
into her arms. There were several
scratches on Sanders’ arms. All
parties involved were told to come
to the PD and give statements
about the incident.

Linda Sue Daniels brought her son
Jaquan to her Friday, March 24 and
made an agreement with Johnson
that she could have him, but that
she could see him when she
wanted to as long as she brought
him back to Johnson. Johnson
stated that she bought Jaquan
milk, clothes, and baby food. She
stated that Daniels came and
picked up Jaquan on Sunday
while she was at work and had not
returned him. Ofc. Taylor told
Johnson that there was nothing
that could be done because
Daniels had not signed over her
parental rights to Johnson.
Johnson understood and stated
that she would try next time to get
her to sign over her rights as the
child’s mother.

reference to a combative subject.
Mary Montgomery, who was
known to be mentally ill. Chief
Lapham. Cpl Montgomery and
Ofc. Ramsey responded to the call
and found Mary in the front yard
in a manic state. The complain-
ant, Sam Montgomery, explained
that Mary began yelling and be-

Ofes. Law and Lovato re-
sponded to the Country Care Plex
in reference to an assault. The vic-
tim. Rose Woldridge, stated that
she had helped buy a tan Saturn
for her friend, Toni Jo Daniels.
Wolridge stated that she found out
that Daniels does not have a
driver’s license or insurance for
the car, so she took the car back.
Daniels became upset and con-
fronted her at work and punched
her in the face. Ofc. Law observed
Daniels sitting in the tan Saturn in
front of the Country Care Plex. He
approached her and asked her
about what happened. She stated
that she just wanted her car back.
He asked Daniels about the as-
sault and she stated that she did
not hit Wolridge. but did push her.
He advised Daniels that she
needed to go to the PD. She
agreed and began walking toward
the patrol car. Ofc. Law told her
that she needed to hand him her
purse and she refused. Daniels
continued walking around the car
and began running toward the
entrance to the Country Care Plex.
Daniels opened the door and ran
inside. Ofc. Law pursued and
stopped her in the hallway. He
took Daniels to the ground and
put her in handcuffs. A search of
Daniels’ purse revealed that she
had an aspirin bottle with 11 crack
cocaine rocks and a metal tube
used as a crack pipe. Daniels was
transported to the GPD and pro-
cessed without incident. Wolridge
gave a written voluntary statement
regarding the assault and signed
a complaint against Daniels.

Co. SO for a warrant from Lee Co.

plaint of a reckless driver. Com-

dent located three miles south of
Lexington. The accident investi-
gation was assumed by Texas De-
partment of Public Safety Troop-
ers upon their arrival.

a possible attempted burglary.
Upon arrival, Ofc. Garza met with
complainant, Edwin Earl Mitchell,
who had seen the front door jamb
on his residence cracked and the
faceplate had been removed.
There were no visible signs that
the front door had been kicked or
otherwise forced. He stated that
nothing was missing, but he
wanted to report the damage.

Ofc. Law met with an anony-
mous subject who came to the GPD
to report that her friend. Maria
Rodriguez was possibly being
beaten by her husband, Jose
Lucio at 348 Clark Lane. The sub-
ject stated that Rodriguez and
Lucio had gotten into an
aruguinent about their children
and that Rodriguez had been
slapped in the face. Ofes. Lovato
and Law responded to the resi-
dence concerning the welfare of
the family. Upon arrival Ofc. Law
met with Maria and observed her
to have a swollen lip. She spoke
very little English, but was able to
tell him that she was scared. She
began crying when the officers
approached and looked back at the
residence with a great amount of
fear when Lucio stepped outside.
The officers then spoke with Lucio
who stated that he was very up-
set over family problems and
Rodriguez got into his face while
they were arguing. He stated that
he pushed her, but did not slap
her. When asked about
Rodriguez’s swollen lip, he stated
that she had run into a door but
was unable to provide further de-
tails. Lucio was taken into cus-
tody for assault, Family Violence.
