A new 8-cl'assroom addition is
being planned to the Hondo High
School, it has been announced.
• The new air conditioned addi-
tion will include 8 classrooms
and 2 restrooms.
Estimated cost ranges from
$100,666 to $140,000. Construc-
tion is expected to begin in No-
vember, and be completed prior
to the 1972 school year.
The Hondo School District just
dedicated new facilities totaling
$1,100,000. It was noted money
for the new 8-classroom addition
will be from funds remaining from
the last bond issue.
Meanwhile, Devine School Dis-
trict has just completed con-
struction of a $1,175,000 high
school, and the Medina Valley '
School District i's planning a bond.,
issue later this year to provide
funds for new construction total-
ing $1,350,000.
This will include construction
of a new high school, converting
the present high school into a

1971 graduate of Medina Valley
High School, is attending Com-
munity College in San Antonio,
Where he is taking a course in
IBM keypunch computer program-

learn to play the guitar. His.par-
ents said they have been advised
by a professor at the college.
