Mrs. Charlie Brock, wife of our fel 1

Decatur Friday night, following a ।
long illness. Funeral services and ।
burial were held at Bethel Saturday
afternoon at 3 o'clock in the presence ;
of a large number of old neighbors j
and relatives. Rev. Mays, pastor of i
the First Methodist church of Decatur,
conducting the services. Mrs. Brock
was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
F. L. Woolaver, long-time honored and
respected citizens of the Bethel com-
munity. She was a devout Christian,
and her daily life reflected her abid-
ing faith in her Creator, and she went
to her grave loved and respected by
all who knew her. Unpretentious, and
at all times modest, even retiring. Mrs.
Brock went about her duties quietly,
faithfully: holding fast to the teach-
ings of her God. aud assured that a
bigger and brighter day would dawn
for her when life’s fitful fever was
o’er and she was given her reward in
her home beyond the stars. The Mes-
