Sheriffs Posse adopted the by-
laws as read by Secretary Lynn
J.ones. These by-laws will have
to be approved by the Sheriff.
The next meeting will be held
June 3 at 8 p. m. at the court-
house. All those who wish to
join the posse should do so be-
fore June 3. After the meeting
the charter will be closed and
the fees will be $5.00 extra, so
why not join now.

TARY SEWER SYSTEM IM-
PROVEMENTS, consisting of
Extension of Outfall Main and
Sewage Disposal Plant, Pro-
ject No. 1—1957, for The City
of Giddings, Texas, hereinafter
called "Owner” in accordance
with plans, specifications and
contract documents, which
were prepared by and may be
obtained from MONTGOMERY
& WILLIAMS, Consulting En-
gineers, 710 West 5th Street,
Austin 1, Texas, will be re-
ceived at the Office of City Se-
cretary in the City Hall, Gid-
dings, Texas,< until 11:00 A.M.
o’clock, June 18, 1957, and
then publicly opened and read
aloud. Any bid received after
closing time will be returned
unopened.
A cashier’s check, certified
check, or acceptable bidder’s
bond payable to the Owners in
an amount not less than 5% of
the largest possible total for the
bid submitted including the
consideration of additive alter-
nates must accompany each bid
as a guarantee that, if award-
