Cameron Counties Irrigation District No. 9, at its regular meeting to
be held in the office of said District in Mercedes, Texas, Tuesday,
December 17, 1985 at 10:00, will receive sealed bids for oil and gas
leases, covering the canal rights of way owned by said District in West
Tract Subdivision in Hidalgo County, Texas and traversing land
therein described as follows:

IRRIGATION DISTRICT NO. 9.

Interested bidders shall submit their bids in writing to the Board of
Directors of said District on or before 10:00 o’clock A.M. on Tuesday,
December 17, 1985.
All bids shall be on the basis of a cash bonus and royalty on all oil
or gas which may be produced from the land described above, and or
lands pooled therewith.
Any lease executed by the District shall contain adequate
provisions to the effect that no drilling operations shall be commenced
or prosecuted by the Lesee which will in any manner interfere with or
hamper the District in the orderly operation of its irrigation or
drainage system nor pollute the waters thereof.
Any lease executed by the District shall be on a form and contain
such terms and conditions as may be prescribed by the General
Attorney for the District, a copy of an acceptable form being on file in
the District office in Mercedes, Texas. Said lease may provide for
pooling as to gas not to exceed 320 acres, as to oil not to exceed 40
acres, and shall provide that Lessor shall have the right to purchase
unit gas at the pipe line price.
The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any and all bids
submitted.
This notice is published in accordance with the provisions of a
Resolution duly adopted by the Board of Directors of the District under
date of November 15, 1985.
