Homecoming Plans
Plans were being completed for
the Homecoming activities at Lex-
ington High School for Friday, Nov.
8.
Twenty entries have been receiv-
ed for the parade in downtown
Lexington at 2 p. m., according to
Miss Marie Hillegeist, parade ch-

are to be honored Saturday night,
Nov. 16, beginning at 7 p. m. m

Nov. 16 is State 4-H achieve-
ment day.
In addition to the 60 4-H boys
and girls that will be presented
awards in Lee County, six Lee
County businessmen, and nine Lee
County Adult 4-H Club leaders will
be presented awards. This is the
first time awards of this type have
been presented to Lee County bus-
inessmen, also to Lee County 4-H
Adult Leaders.
Other highlights of the program
will be a demonstration by the Lee
County 4-H Safety team and a dem-
onstration by the Lee County 4-H
Electric Team. The program will
be announced next week in this
