13.1 percent over August's figures. Brownsville was down 20.0
percent, McAllen fell 16.4 percent and El Paso declined 14.1
percent. However, Laredo increased 28.6 percent. YTD air passen-
ger arrivals were down 0.3 percent. El Paso, with 78.6 percent of all
passengers arriving in September, was up 0.1 percent. McAllen,
with 12.8 percent of all arrivals, was down 4.9 percent. Harlingen,
no longer gives out arrival information. Laredo increased 15.5
percent while Brownsville fell 3.7 percent YTD.U,

September air passenger departures for reporting Texas border
cities were down 11.8 percent from August's figures. Brownsville
decreased22.7percent,McAllen wasdown 13.3percent, Harlingen
fell 13.0 percent and El Paso dipped 12.6 percent. However, Laredo
increased 26.9 percent. YTD, air passenger departures remained
unchanged from a year ago. El Paso, with 65.3 percent of all
passengers departing in September, was down 0.3 percent YTD.
Harlingen, with 17.0 percentofall passengers departing, wasup 1.3
percent. McAllen, with 10.7 percent of all passengers departing,
decreased 3.0 percent YTD. Laredo rose 18.7 percent while
