June building permits issued by reporting Texas border cities were for 31.5 percent of all building permits issued, had an increase o
down 5.7 percent from May. Eagle Pass rose 6.3 percent, El Paso 3.7 percent YTD. Laredo, with 34.2 percent of building permit

down 23.2 percent from May. Harlingen declined 31.3 percent,
McAllen fell 16.8 percent, and El Paso decreased 3.0 percent.
Brownsville went down 36.4 percent. Laredo was fell 36.4 percent.
Eagle Pass gained 19.0 percent. YTD reporting border cities
experienced a 19.2 percent increase in building permit values. ElPaso, with 32.3 percent of total building permit values, increased
12.0 percent YTD. Laredo, with 18.6 percent of total building
permit values, gained 4.8 percent YTD. Brownsville, with 15.3
percent of total building permit values, decreased 19.1 percent.
