Top 25 Products Handled at U.S.-Mexico Border Ports-May 2006 Year-to-Date
U.S.-Mexico border ports processed $106.4 billion or 78.6
percent of the total trade dollar value of U.S.-Mexico merchan-
dise ($135.3 billion) for the period, January-May 2006. Of the
amount handled at these ports, $45.9 billion was in U.S. exports
to Mexico, and $60.5 billion was in U.S. imports from Mexico.Port of Entry Rank SITC
The list below shows the top twenty-five U.S. exports to
Mexico which accounted for 47.5 percent of the $45.9 billion
total. The top twenty-five U.S. imports from Mexico are also
shown and constituted 59.0 percent of the $60.5 billion total.
