Two sportsmen from Lubbock,
typical of local hunters, such as
Lux, and others, arrived here
Saturday morning and inquired
for hunting jackets at The Qua-
lity Shop. In a conversation,
Ennis Nentwig heard them say
that they were enroute to Bee-
ville on a hunting trip, stating
that they had around twelve
miles to go.
Ennis asked them to repeat
their destination, and again the
duet repeated they were head-
ing toward Beeville.
It was then learned that the
hunters had come from Lubbock
through San Antonio, where up-
on consulting the map they mis-
took Bellville for Beeville, no
duobt, and found themselves
here, some two hundred miles
from their designated hunting
location.
And so we find that hunters
are really all alike, including our
fellow townsmen. They love
their sport, and in their quest
for game, travel anywhere, not
knowing whither they go or
wander.
