BUFFS FIGHTING
TO KEEP PLACE
The Houston Buffs are now standing in fourth place
and have to date, won thirteen games and lost thirteen
games. The Buffs are always a fighting team.
Red Davis, the fine fielding Buff short stop, has been
clipping the ball very hard for the past two weeks. He
has boosted his average up to the .300 class and has pro-
duced his share of the Buffs tallies throughout the season.
F The Dallas Steers are always dangerous to the Buffs.
Due to the fact that Houston and Dallas are rival cities the
two teams always go out to fight each other to a standstill.
Even though Dallas is at present at the bottom of he Texas
League they never let up whn they meet the Buffs and are
always a ‘bee in their collar.’ If you want to see a rea
game see this one.All seats in the colored section of the
grandstand and the bleachers have been reduced to 25 cents.
The school bands will furnish music. Come out and enjoy
yourself. • The Houston Baseball Association appreciates
your patronage .and hopes to please you at all times.
