There are changes going on
around town again and more to
come.
Keep hearing rumors and rum-
beling about a oil bit out fit
going to move in understand the
boss has all ready located and
remodeling his new home now.
The Crenshaw’s busy inlarging
their home yes sir getting ready
for Grand Son and son John and
wife.
The Red Nichols new home is
shaping up. Bob Robinson still
dolling up his residence.
Old man Bill gettiing back to
normal fast almost as good as be-
fore they started improving me if
could just get a set of new eyes
and lose about 50 pounds oh boy
wouldn’t that be something. Its
hard to have to go back to work
again but sure getting a kick out
of its the gang with a smile again
and sure wanting your business.
The population loss to Bosque
County is terrible and no alibi
can excuse it. To the people that
expect to reside in Bosque have
business or property had better
quit talking and do something
about it. There has been lots of
talk and always going to shoot
a big bear but for some reason
always missed. Better start taking
dead aim and hit. Something bet-
ter be done or in next 10 years
the loss will be greater.
Since the meeting, terrace lines
have been staked for W. T. Whit-
ley, 1.4 miles, 0. S. Bakke, 1.0
mile, Henry Krollage, 1.2 miles,
G. S. Aanenson, 2.3 miles and E.
G. Bronstad, 1.9 miles, Others at-
tending the meeting were Curtis
Bakke, Orville Bronstad and
Evans Ficklin. Ficklin is furnish-
ing heavy equipment owned by
the County to construct the ter-
races.
The group discussed the pos-
sibility of having a short tour
this fall to observe range improve-
ment. Oscar Gates, G. S. Aanen-
son and 0. S. Bakke have seeded
some of their range and each is
resting pasture from grazing.
G. G. Dickson of the Harmony
Conservation Group has one of the
best seedings of native bluestem
on cleared land. Dickson used a
walking planter and put the seed
into the ground. This required a
little more time and effort but
a much greater percent of ,his
seed came up and were up easier.
C. A. Sneed of Meridian har-
vested a small acreage of Kentuc-
ky fescu grass seed during the
last week. Fescue is a winter
growing grass that is doing well
on heavy soil especially if there
is extra moisture.
Charlie Isenhower of Valley-
Mills harvested a small field of
common ryegrass seed.

Do they say you space your calls to give

Do they say you hang up quickly when the

Do they say your children use the telephone

If they do, you are a good party-line neighbor.
