Seriously Cut.
The Shreveport papers report a
cutting affair at that place. A
printer by the name of Gregory
and who by the way worked in this
office several days made a stop in
Shreveport and engaged to work
for a job office there. He it seems
was a uon union printer and meet-
ing W. W. Gilliland of the Journal
fell int« conversation about the
union Gilliland called Gregory a
rat and Gregory slashed him with a
knife. The intestines protruded
and it is thought the wound will
prove a troublesome one. Gregory
walked off after the cutting and
the police are on the hunt for him.
