worship services when he was a teenager. In June 1992,
Bill became full-time Minister of Music.
Over the years, Bill has written the lyrics, music and
dialogue for a number of youth musicals and directs the
various choirs and music programs of the church. In addi-
tion, he has coordinated and directed the Mills County
Christmas Choir and its, annual presentation, plus has led
the community’s combined choirs at the Goldthwaite High
School Baccalaureate services and Ministerial Association
Thanksgiving Services.
Bill’s wife Donna has been a loyal supporter of Bill’s
ministry and faithfully involved in the FBC music pro-
grams. They have a son, Eric, who is in school at Tarleton
State University, completing his master’s degree in physi-
cal therapy. Their oldest son, Joel, died in August 1999,
after a courageous battle with cancer. Bill’s mother, Elaine,
is a long-time resident of Mills County. His father, J. W. is
deceased.
The members and staff of FBC invite everyone to join
in the celebration, which begins this Sunday evening at
six o’clock in the auditorium. After a brief service, the pro-
gram will move to the Youth Center for a sandwich supper
and special festivities. Guests from the community need
not bring any food, as the members will provide the meal.
