sponded to the hearty applause by a
number of encores. Sidney Pitman
played the piano accompaniment.
Mrs. Hallie Hill sang two solos, a
negro spiritual and "Lindy Lou.’
She was accompanied by Mrs. Her-
mione Stewart Vaughn.
"Mr. Swan, in speaking to the stu-
dents, said that after one got out of
school the three R’s were often sup-
planted by the three L’s, look. lis-
ten and learn. He spoke of the
great opportunities which the stu-
dents of today had when they en-
tered the business world. He ended
his tak by quoting Kipling’s “If."..
