THE BIBLE
Solid Ground
Do You Worship The
True Jesus Christ Of
The Bible Or A Fake?
Do you worship the true Jesus
Christ of the Bible? Or have
you unknowingly been deceived
by Satan the devil into believing
in a fake saviour?
Maybe you have heard and
seen the “Jesus freaks” on
TV and in magazines. These
long-haired hippie-type char-
acters claim to look, act and
live like the Jesus Christ of
the Bible. But do they really?
Not only do the “Jesus
freaks” try to look and dress
like their idea of how Jesus
looked, but they also try to
use the excuse that they are
rebelling against the Establish-
ment because Jesus did.
In both cases they are
ABSOLUTELY WRONG. They
have been deceived even though
I firmly believe they truly think
they are following in Christ’s
footsteps.
If we are only willing to open
our eyes and "look objectively
into the Bible, we will see that
Jesus Christ was just the op-
posite of what we often see in
the Jesus freaks.
Christ our Saviour didn’t have
long hair. He never tried to
buck the establishment or over-
throw the government, He paid
taxes, obeyed the laws of the
land, lived in a home and pro-
bably even owned several homes
of His own, took baths and even
taught people to obey the rulers
of the cuntry.
Did Jesus wear His hair long?
Pictures we see indicate just
that. But what does the Bible
say?
In ICorinthians 11:1-11 we read
that a woman’s hair is given her
for a “covering” and a sign
of being under authority. This
chapter never mentions any-
thing other than hair in dis-
cussing coverings of the human
head. Tt shows that a woman
should have longer hair for a
