and very few souls, to factitious, denominational
movements among the believers in Christ.”
I believe every soul who attended the 1973 Blue
Ridge Encampment, and participated in the Spirit
and fellowship of these meetings, will say Amen to
the above statement of the A. R. Holtons.
The Christian Chronicle and the Christian Woman
publications are dedicated to the spreading of these
great movements to every great population center
across our great land. The power of the Gospel of
Christ, taught by capable, Spirit filled Christians,
will root sin out of all Christian families, churches,
and schools to the glory of God and the salvtion
of souls.

Each time their names were mentioned, I could
recall hundreds of conversations with Brother and
Sister A. R. Holton during those years they worked
with us in the country of Korea. Often they re-
called their experiences at Blue Ridge, College Bible
Chairs, and Vacation Bible Schools, all of which are
institutions of service today under the teaching arm
of the church. The Holtons were pioneers, if not
the very first leaders, in the establishment of all
three of these teaching institutions in the churches
of Christ. “Often,” they said, “in every city where
we have Christian encampments, Bible Chairs in the
State Colleges, and dynamic Vacation Bible Schools,
we will not lose a single church, Christian College,
