were Ritchie Priddy and
Jymann Hokanson.
Spending the month of June
working in the Washington of-
fice of the Congressman will

sophomore Keathley,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Bryan O. Keathley of Abilene.
Serving with her will be

In announcing the selections
at a luncheon at Briarstone
Manor in Abilene, Con-
gressman Stenholm said, "We
look forward to having these
four outstanding young ladies
in the office this summer and
will attempt to add to their
education with this indepth
work-study program of the ac-
tivities of a Congressional of-
fice in Washington. We are
very pleased with the con-
tinued success of this program
and appreciate the interest and
participation of the members
of the Selection Committee
over the 17th District.
Class withdrawal
Tomorrow is the final day
for students to drop classes.
There is a charge of $5. Drop
forms can be obtained in the
counselors office located in
the Student Center.
Delta Psi Omega
Delta Psi Omega will hold
their drama awards banquet
on May 5. Several acting
honors will be presented at this
time.
Senate elections
The Student Senate will
hold office elections on May
1-2. Deadline for application
is noon, April 30.
Applicants must be
sophomores or have a
minimum of 30 hours com-
pleted, at least a 2.0 GPA, be
in good standing with the col-
lege and a full-time student.
Offices to be filled are presi-
dent, vice-president, secretary
and treasurer.
Applications may be picked
up in Mickey Baird's office.
Dorm assistants
Applications are now being
accepted for the 1984-85 resi-
dent hall assistants.
David Harr, dorm director,
will fill the twelve open posi-
tions after the April 30
deadline.
"For more information, job
discriptions are available in
the dorm office and the
selected R.A.'s will be posted
May 3," Harr said.
Egg decorations
The Senate special effects
committee sponsored the First
Annual Egg Decorating Con-
test April 19.
Winners were chosen in
three categories. Best over-all
egg went to Patti Green. She
received a $15 prize. Richard
Green captured the most ar-
tistic egg category and Debbie
Brown won with the most
original egg. Each received a
$10 prize.
Check presented
Members of the Atheneum
Study Club presented Dr. Don
Newbury, college president,
with the club's annual WTC
scholarship check.

high school gradua-

here before trying a
