‘Do Well, Be Well
with Diabetes’ classes
to begin Sept. 15
The annual "Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes" class will be
conductedeach Wednesday, Sept. 15-Oct. 13, at the McCulloch
County AgriLife Extension Service, 114 W. Main in Brady.
"Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes" is aneducational program
for people with Type 2 diabetes. The primary goal is to help
participants learn how to manage their meal plan and self-care
to maintain their blood glucose in the ranges recommended
if you do well, you can be well with diabetes.
Class dates will be Sept. 15,22 and 29 and Oct. 6 and 13,
from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Light diabetic snacks will be provided.
Everyone is welcome to attend and encouraged to bring
a family member or friend. To register for the class call the
Extension Office at 597-1295.
Finger stick blood sugar testing will be availalbe from
11:30 a.m. to noon.
