only daughter, Pat. married John
Shilling The Aldridges purchased
this house and a number of others
for rent houses and something to do
in their "golden years." They both
passed away in a year Pat Shilling
now owns this house and rents it
We still call it "Our house in tovv n!"
back home We rented this house
for several years while it was for
sale.
J V. and Pearle Aldridge, former
residents of Cotulla, retired from
their jobs in California and came
home When they lived here, they

south side of the block facing the
park They were moved to 802, 804,
and 806 Leona St across from
Norma Isen's home
in 1958 Malvin and JessicPlocek
bought the one at 804, the one in the
iyiddle. from Joe Amberson Be-
fore this house was mov cd. Couser's
Beauty Shop w as in it, at one time
Lucille and her husband livedin the
house, also Lucille later married
Al Klopcc in Dilley. She is de-
ceased
When we moved there, Bill and
Rose Shull were our neighbors on
the west side Troy and Irene Crisp
and three children were living on
the east side When they moved to
Oregon the house was sold to Joe
and Sarah Pohl who lived there a
. number of years. They moved to
, San Antonio and sold the house I

one lives in it now
When Elmo and Mary Collins
came to Cotulla, they bought the
house on the west side Bill and
Rose had to move The Collins
lived there many years before pur-
