Cardui when she felt weak, nervous
and restless before her children
were born.
And during middle life, it helped
her again. “I was miserable,” she
explains. "I did not have an appe-
tite. I was very blue and upset. I
remembered Cardui had helped me
so took it again and soon began to
pick up. I ate and had more
strength. I kept up the Cardui and
did not have any more trouble. Is it
any wonder that I recommend Car-
dui to all my friends? ’
Thousands of women testify Car-
dui benefited them. If it does not
benefit YOU, consult a physician.
From Washington I came to New
York on a bus. We passed through
six states from Washington to New
York in two hours. For it is only
200 miles distance. It is not like
Texas for you travel through that
state and it seems it has no end-
ing. .
The Montgomery Ward & Co. is
located right on the highway in
Baltimore. People in Baltimore most
ly live in houses that are built al-
together. Makes it look like a long
and large building. Each owner has
steps on the outside. The whiter
the steps are, the cleanest house-
keeper they call her.
As we came to Trenton, N. J.,
we were stopped by a terrible traf-
fic, for there were two trucks that
ran off the embankment of a
river. A car that was following us
was in a rush to get ahead. An
officer came to the car and said:
“Say you big flat foot dummox,
why are you in such a rush?” The
man did not say a word. I don’t
blame him, I would keep quiet also,
for the officer was really one and a
half.
I have noticed many people here
are using rash language and it is
certainly embarrassing to the ones
not used to it.
If anyone calls a cop an officer
in New York, they think so much
of it that they don’t know what to
do in gratitude for you.

Cleanse the Blood
VOUR kidneys are constantly filter-
I ing waste matter from the blood
stream. But kidneys sometimes lag in
their work—do not act as nature in-
tended—fail to remove impurities that
poison the system when retained.
Then you may suffer nagging back-
ache, dizziness, scanty or too frequent
urination, getting up at night, puffiness
under the eyes; feel nervous, misera-
ble—-all upset.
Don’t delay? Use Doan’s Pilis.
Doan’s are especially for poorly func-
tioning kidneys. They are recom-
mended by grateful users the country
over. Get them from any druggist.

It cost $24,000. The ground it stands
