Description

Outline for the Information & Education Conference on October 20, 1945 regarding the odds of another war occurring following World War II, based on an article by John Fischer titled "Odds Against Another War" published in Harper's Magazine of which a copy is furnished. The outline and article discuss how the two world Super Powers, the United States and the Soviet Union, are the only nations capable of waging a global war and how their mutual desire to build a security sphere orbiting around each nation will likely lead to a tense and unstable peace.
