The aggregate possibilities of
the eighty 72 ton ships arc giv-
en in the following figures: They
can carry 10,000,000 (yes million)
pounds of cargo to the Panama
Canal in 4H hours,, can transport
three divisions of troops to Alas-
ka in 3(1 hours. 24,000 to the
Canal zone in 38 hours or 15,000
to Hawaii in 4B. Incidentally, the
cost of the ships will be only
$¡100,000 as compared to $3,000,-
000 for the first of the breed —

At the regular meeting of the
Hutchinson County Pilots' Asso-
ciation it was voted unanimous-
ly to fine each person consid-
ered a screwbird tone who does

SAN ANTONIO, Tex., May 34
—</P>- Four San Antonio soldr
iers, all members of the 141«t In-
fantry at Camp Bowie, were kill-
ed and r filth seriously injured
in a head on car-truck collision
late today on the Fredericksburg
road near Leon Springs 17 miles
northwest of the city.
The soldiers were en route
home for the week-end.
The dead were: Milton D, Hedl-
gar, Homer G Jimenez, John H.
Draegor, Malnrv Wieriek.
Willie Leblarie is in a serious
condition at the station hospital.
Investigating officers were un-
able to learn who was driving
the soldiers car.
The truck, north bound from
San Antonio, was occupied by
Charles and Andrew Aston of
• 414 North Green St.' Eastland,
Texas.
The four soldiers were pro-
nounced dead when they arrived
at the station hospital. The truck
drivers were not bolioved ser-
iously hurt.

Only the flight test remains now
for "Mitch". After that Bor-
ger will have another commer-
cial pilot.

mention that his wife also came.
