Maxine Ullrich.
Survivors are his mother

residence.
She was born Oct, 23, 1977,
in Rusk and graduated from
Rusk High School in 1997.
She worked for Grace Home
Health Service of Jacksonville
and was a member of Mount
Mariah CME Church.
Survivors include her par-
ents, David C. and Connie
Watts Tyler of Rusk; her grand-
mother, Fannie B. Watts of

Tyler and Timothy Tyler, both
of Rusk; and two sisters, Lisa

Mrs. York died Wednesday in
Lufkin. She was born January
18, 1909, in Laneville to King
Young Jr. and Rena Fuller
Young. She lived most of her
life in Alto and was a member of
the New Hope Baptist Church
and the Alto Eastern Star. She
worked in the cafeteria at Alto
High School and Booker T.
Washington School for years.
She also worked at the Rusk
State Hospital and the Alto
Post Office.
She was preceded in death
by her husband, Edward York
Sr.; her son, Edward York Jr.;
five sisters, Eva Jones, Carrie
Davis, Cora Griffin, Jessie
Mae Patrick and Rosa Bell
Johnson; six brothers, Anthony
Young, Jewel Young, Jeffery
Young, King Young Jr., Tbmmy
Young and Elbert Young.
Survivors include a sister,
Elese Cook of Wichita Falls
and a host of nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Louise Hamrick, 84, of Chan-
nelview, formerly of Ponta,

Myrtle Springs Cemetery at

She was born April 12,1916,

worked in food service at

Haney, 63, Palestine, was at
2 p.m. Sunday at Christ Com-
munity Church' in Palestine

officiating. Burial was in Land
of Memory Cemetery under the
direction of Herrington/Land
of Memory Funeral Home.
The Rev. Haney died Thurs-
day, Feb. 22, in Rosenberg. He
was born June 14, 1947, in
Alto to Richard Ernest Haney
and Berdie Lee Creel Haney.
He had lived in Palestine Tbr
the past 11 years. He was a
graduate of Stephen F. Austin
State University and Lon
Morris College. He did gradu-
ate work at the University of
Texas at Tyler.
He was pastor of Lifa Minis-
tries Church for seven years
and was involved in Christian
education and home mission
work. He was also pastor of
Life Tabernacle Church in
Waco for six years. For the past
three years he was a counselor
for the Oakwood Independent

Alto was at 1:90 p.m. Monday
in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral
Home Chapel in Alto with
the Rev, Dr. Randy FitEgerald
officiating. Burial was in the
Shiloh Cemetery in Alto.
Mrs. Black died Saturday in
Pollok. She was born Oct. 31.
1907, in Shelby County to Elva
and Mary Francis Mufphy
Cain. She lived most of her life
in Alto and was a member of
the A. Frank Smith Methodist
Church, She waa a homemakar
and worked as a cook for Alto
Independent School District
and janitor for the A. Frank
Smith Methodist Church. She
waa preceded in death by her
husband Edward Black and a
son, James Edward Black.
Survivors are two daughters,
Evaline Jones of Pollok and
Ethelda Plummer of Elkhart;
a sister; Willie Lee Hendrioks
of Dallas; 14 grandchildren; 34
great-grandchildren and four
great-great-grandchildren.
