Miss Mix
The members and substitutes of
the Beaunot Club enjoyed a lovely
meeting Friday afternoon with Miss
Anna Lee Rix, 406 Pierce street.
This was the first meeting of the
slub since before lent and the reas-
sembling of this club of charming
girls was very pleasant, and meet-
inga will be held each Wednesday af-
ternoon. - /
The reception suite was attrac-
tively adorned with marguerites and
potted plants.
The club game, fiveshundred, was
the entertainment for the afternoon
and Miss Martha Shelton received
the prize a silver fork. The club
has selected as their regular prizes
lovely pieces of silver.
A delicious salad course was ser-
ved at the close of the games.
The substitutes-were Misses Kath-
erine Milliken, Guy Harding and
Fanny Fern Masterson.

tertained by Mrs. W. B. Dohoney at

The Young People’s-Local Union
of Amarillo will give a Humorous
Social on Thursday evening at 8
o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs.

Knights of Columbus will give
their fourth annual ball, at the
Woodmen of the World Hall,
Tuesday night April 8. The com-
mittee will make it a pleasant even-
