esting meeting in the home of
Mrs. Bert Carr Friday, March 12.

ty" were formulated and com-
mittees appointed to work out the
details and set a date for same.
Mrs. Carr brought us a very good
report from council.
When business was attended to
adjournment was in order and a
social hour was enjoyed. The
recreation committee had plenty
to keep us entertained until our
hostesses, Mrs. Bert Carr and Mrs
Frank Carr, served those present
with sandwiches, cookies, hot tea
and coffee.
There were thirteen members
present at this meeting

THE PLUS
ULTRAS
The March meeting of the Plus
Ultra Bible Class was held in the
pleasant home of Mrs. June Hen-
sicy with Mrs. Robinson as as-
sistant hostess, and it proved to
be a most enjoyable affair. Open-
ing with roll call answered by a
verse of scripture, ami a devout ;
prayer by Dr. Storey, who then
gave as a devotional a very in-
teresting explanation of John 15:
22-27: John 17.12 and other chos-
en bits of scripture.
All Class business was then
brought up and plans made for
providing clothing for our new |
charge, a little girl in the File-
Valley Home for Orphans. Other
plans that were discussed were
the organization of a prayer band. |
committees for striving to increase
our membership, and several
other projects that are of special
interest to the class. Mrs. Bess
Yancey gave two readings along
these lines, one especially stirring,
entitled “Unity in Action." Mrs
Loos read cards for Juniors, lor
young people, and for adults,
"TIw Gift 1 Bring," that should be
used daily as a bookmarker in
the Bible of every reader.
We were very sorry to lose our
lovable little teacher, Mrs. Loos,
and hope she will find pleasant
associations in her new work as
president of the Auxiliary. Then
we just as heartily welcomed as ;
our new leader Mrs. Georgia
Shoultz with promises of lull co-
operation in the arduous task ol
keeping up the morale and atten-
dance of the class.
About this time Mrs. Thomas
H. Lewis breezed in and gave us
a very entertaining lecture. But
the fact is that in a short sketch
as this must necessarily be, it
